Phil Goodstein on Five Points History, 8/12/17

Come to the Hub to see Phil Goodstein, Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 6:30pm, talk about the history of our neighborhood, Five Points and other Denver locales.  Phil Goodstein is the de facto Denver historian.  A Denver native with a Ph.D in History from the University of Colorado, Phil has written more that ten books on the history of Denver and it’s neighborhoods including “The Ghosts of Denver: Capitol Hill”; “Curtis Park, Five Points, and Beyond: The Heart of Historic East Denver”; “The Haunts of Washington Park” and “The Seamy Side of Denver”.  He regularly leads walking tours through Denver neighborhood describing the little known history of Denver.  Come see Phil recount the bizarre and fascinat­ing tales of Denver’s history.  This event is free for members of the Secular Hub and $5 for non-members.  Doors open at 6pm.

The Secular Hub is located at 3100 Downing Street, Unit C, Denver, CO 80205 and here is a map link. Please park in the lot across the alley behind the Hub or on the street. The spaces directly behind the building are reserved for the residents on the 2nd floor.
