As a follow-up to the Hub’s Peter Boghossian speaking event we have invited Anthony Magnabosco to visit the Hub and give a workshop on his extremely effective take on the Street Epistemology method of engaging with people about their beliefs.
Anthony has been practicing Street Epistemology for several years and has developed a subtle, respectful and relatable style of Socratic questioning that gently invites someone to explore why they hold their beliefs, then encourages them to consider lowering their level of confidence in that belief.
To view Anthony in action interacting with believers visit his You Tube Channel Here: https://www.youtube.com/user/magnabosco210
Come join us Saturday, August 19th in learning from Anthony about how we can use this technique to have friendlier, less argumentative and more productive conversations with friends, family and even strangers about religion, politics and any other strongly held beliefs.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., workshop starts at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 for Hub Members, $20 for Non-Members and can be purchased in advance by clicking the Pay Now button below or at the door if space is available.
